Sidekicks Student Oath

Did you know that the Sidekicks Student Oath was written by a woman? Yes, it was. A former Sidekicks student  wrote the Sidekicks Student Oath. Her name is Chrystal Chostner. SIdekicks student oath is recited at the start and close of each Taekwondo class.

Here it is.

“I am a student of Taekwondo. I strive to live honorably through peaceful means. I have the courage to face all challenges and the strength to conquer. I respect my juniors and my seniors and live in harmony with my family, friends, and neighbors. I am dedicated to my physical, mental, and spiritual growth. I am a student of Taekwondo.”
