GMO Inducted into Martial Arts Hall of Fame

Grandmaster Orange or GMO was recently inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Jamaica. His contributions to taekwondo over the past five decades have earned him this unique and special proclamation.

Many of the Sidekicks students in Jamaica were involved in making this happen, as were Grandmaster McDowell and the Sidekicks Jamaica Instructors. GMO was pivotal in furthering taekwondo in Jamaica, back in the 1980’s, and as a result it is still going strong there.

You’re an amazing instructor, and role model in so much ways in the Martial Arts. Over the past 30 years, you pioneered the martial arts teachings of the Songahm spirit of Taekwondo  to Jamaica. Then, gave Sidekicks Martial Arts Academy, another pioneering Taekwondo martial arts endeavor to Jamaica, developed by you. You have now been recorded in the annals of the nation’s history in the martial arts.
You have truly earned and deserve such a designation, Sir!
