GMO at United World Taekwondo Association

Each year GMO attends the United World Taekwondo Association event in Reno, Nevada. This year, he and Mrs. Orange recently got back from the UWTA event. GMO’s Great Grandmaster Robinson was there, as he and his family organize and produce the event each year.
One of the most impressive parts of the annual UWTA event is the tea ceremony, where each of the newly promoted black belts receive their certificate of rank, amidst a huge ballroom illuminated only the tea lights. Here’s a picture of it.
T
hen the students who tested receive their rank promotion, including a handshake from each of the Grandmasters present, and a knighting from Great Grandmaster Robinson, a new black belt with their name embroidered on it, and a cup of tea, with their new certificate of rank.
There were hundreds of students testing for various degrees of black belt at the UWTA testing event. In fact, their ages ranged from just 5 years old to 83 years of age. That goes to prove these students have indomitable spirit and they all had perseverance too!
