Yes GMO was a Yellow Belt

Yes GMO was a Yellow Belt. Back in 1975. Fifty years ago! It may seem like ages ago. Because it was.  Below is a picture of Grandmaster Orange’s yellow belt certificate, signed by his instructor at the time.

In the photo above, younger yellow belt GMO was practicing with Geoffrey Maximowski. Geoffrey, like so many taekwondo students, only tested once and quit after getting his yellow belt.

Just think, if GMO had quit all the times that he wanted to, we would not have a Grandmaster today, and we would not have Sidekicks! That’s perserverance.
